[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide run cutting, scheduling software and related services to assist the CAT management team with vehicle operator run cutting and shift scheduling. CAT is seeking web-based scheduling software that provides timetabling, blocking, run cutting, relief car scheduling, and rostering, in order to optimize a time-consuming and potentially error-prone process.
Software should be cloud-based as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), no on-premise installation requirements
- The ability for drag-and-drop graphical user interface (GUI) to create modifications to physical alignment of existing routes and stops and to develop new routes
- The ability to change frequency and headways in GUI and have it reflected automatically in timetable
- Ability for users to create new stops or remove stops from a route in mapping GUI, including renaming the stop and stop ID, and have changes immediately reflected in timetable
- Ability to modify timetable time points and runtimes in user interface.
- Ability to see vehicle number assigned to trips in timetable view, with automatic updates as trips are modified.
- Ability to block individual routes or select sets of routes to be interlined.
- Colour of the routes must match colour defined in the planning platform.
- Ability to perform runcuts and rosters with specific parameters set-up by users.
- Exports in all of the following formats general transit feed specification (GTFS), paddles in html format, blocks and runs by day type in Microsoft excel format (vertical representation of time), cafeteria and roster style bid sheets in Microsoft excel, shapefiles for route alignments
- License should be accessible for an unlimited number of users.
- Offeror should provide unlimited customer support in license fee, including direct production of first blocking, runcut, and roster from start of scheduling through the shift bidding process.

Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location
