[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide rental of handheld parking credit card device to the government authority located in New Orleans, LA.
- Vendor shall provide a mobile point-of-sale device, with each device having its own printer (wearable on attendant’s waist or similar), that accepts all forms of payment and works, wifi, and offline, devices shall also be able to scan prepaid parking permits to determine validity and whether permit is a duplicate. Each device should be supplied with equipment to have it fully-functional (charging bases and batteries, cases, etc.),
- Vendor shall provide a reporting system that allows for end-of-shift reconciliation. report will be used to balance attendants’ cash received compared to sales issued. report must provide reports by event category, location of sales, payment method (e.g. cash or credit card) by individual attendant,
- Handheld software must provide the ability to scan barcodes to perform validity checks,
- Display screen on handheld must be backlit and be visible in bright sunlight,
- The devices must be compatible to scan and verify Ticketmaster barcodes and QRs, the ticketmaster system is currently used to pre-purchase a parking ticket with the purchase of your event tickets,
- The POS system should have dynamic pricing options available thru administrators to allow for
pricing changes, VIP and exempt rates with a customizable home dashboard for reporting and
Comparison and allow for real time data collection.
