[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide to implement a comprehensive, automated testing solution.
- Provide comprehensive and effective regression testing of LSU's Workday Service, including testing business processes, integrations and security.
- Allow Test Cases to be executed multiple times on a designated LSI-J Workday tenant without having permanent impact on that tenant (i.e., without permanently changing the data associated with instances of business objects).
- Allow for Unit Testing. That is, allow for the execution of a series of standalone tests which examine individual business processes.
- Allow for End-to-End Testing. That is, allow for the execution of a series of tests that validate and verify that the flow of business processes that depend on each other is performing as designed from start to finish.
- Provide the ability to link multiple business processes together to accomplish End-to-End testing.
- Provide the ability to conduct positive and negative Test Cases and to associate an expected outcome with each of the Test Cases so that, for example, a negative Test Case that fails to complete for expected reasons can be considered successful.
- Provide support for the testing of 25 different Finance business processes (e.g., create journal, create expense report).
- Provide for the testing of Finance business processes and integrations deemed as being among the most voluminous and time-consuming for LSU including
Register Business Asset, Create Supplier Invoice, Create Requisition Event, Create Expense Report Event, Create Journal, Customer Payment Application Event, Customer Invoice Event
- Allow LSU to test the LSU Workday Service for any Finance business processes and integrations currently supported by the Supplier's Solution or subsequently added to the Supplier's Solution at LSU's discretion and at no additional cost.
- Provide support for the testing of 25 different HCM business processes (e.g., change job, create position).
- Provide for the testing of HCM business processes and integrations deemed as being among the most voluminous and time-consuming for LSU including:
Change Job, Request Comp Change, Add Additional Job, Hire, Terminate, Onetime Payment, Change Benefit Elections, Create Position, Create Job Requisition, Enter my Time
- Allow LSU to test the LSI-J Workday Service for any HCM business processes and integrations currently supported by the Supplier's Solution or subsequently added to the Supplier's Solution at discretion and at no additional cost.
- Provide for the testing of Workday Security including positive (i.e., Workday user has access as intended) and negative (i.e., Workday user does not have access that is not intended) testing.
- Provide for the testing of permitted actions on Workday objects including Organizations, Positions, and Workers.
- Allow security permission testing down to the field-level.
- Allow scenario testing for both role-based and user-based roles.
- Allow each Test Case to be run on behalf of a designated user.
- Incorporate sufficient technical and procedural controls to protect the confidentiality and integrity of data. The controls must shield LSU data from unauthorized generation, access, modification, disclosure, transmission, or destruction.
- Allow to restrict administrative access to the Workday Testing Solution to specific users designated as Workday Testing Solution Administrators (that is, limit who can modify the Configuration of the Workday Testing Solution, provision new Workday Testing Solution users, etc.).
- Allow Workday Testing Solution Administrators to create additional user accounts with differing permissions.
- Allow the LSI-J Workday Testing Solution Administrators to manage user access to the Workday Testing Solution either directly through a web-based interface or through an automated integration with LSU's single sign-on application.
- Allow LSU Workday Testing Solution Administrators to monitor activity in the Workday Testing Solution including user activity (e.g., logging in) and testing activity (e.g., execution of a Test Run).
