[A] Budget: Looking For Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide interpretation and translation services required during non-emergency office related activities (special events, training, workshops, exercises, etcetera) and in the event of hurricanes, natural or man-made disasters
- Emergency Interpretation Services:
- The Contractor will provide Spanish and Vietnamese-speaking interpreters to assist in evacuation processing or other emergency public information needs,
- The Contractor will be able to provide at least one Vietnamese interpreter and two Spanish interpreters per twelve hour shift as requested by the City,
- The Contractor will demonstrate that interpreters are qualified and experienced by verifying interpreters are or have one of the following: court certified interpreter, medical interpretation certification, community interpretation certification, graduate degree in respective foreign language, or other indication of expertise in respective language of translation or interpretation,
- Translation Services:
- The Contractor will provide Spanish and Vietnamese translators to translate documents as needed throughout the year and during emergencies on an as-needed basis,
- The Contractor will demonstrate that translators are qualified and experienced by verifying interpreters are or have one of the following: court certified interpreter, medical interpretation certification, community interpretation certification, graduate degree in respective foreign language, or other indication of expertise in respective language of translation or interpretation,
- The Contractor will provide translation services within an agreed-upon, reasonable timeline under normal circumstances and an expedited timeline during emergencies.
[C] Eligibility:
Onshore (USA Organization Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
