Government Authority located in New Orleans, Louisiana; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for medical scribe program.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide medical scribe program would include but are not limited to: documenting the history, physical exam, results, procedures, course, and physician consults; accessing and documenting laboratory results and radiology findings; accessing and displaying x-rays for the physician to review; locate and obtain PMHx, previous charts, past results, and recent studies; as well as record physician interpretations of X-Rays and ECG’s to the government authority located in New Orleans, LA.
- Transcribing information into the electronic health record, as directed by physician during the patient visit.
- Record diagnostic results such as radiology interpretations and lab values, enter medication orders, physical therapy orders, home exercises, educational handouts, work restrictions and other orders per instruction from physician.
- Assisting the physician in navigating the health record and gathering necessary information when directed, researching additional information, as directed by the physician, for use in coordinating
referrals, preparing reports, responding to messages, and other clerical tasks as directed by the
physician, ensuring records are accurate, complete and reviewed for spelling, grammar, and sequential order before review by the treatment team, ensuring up-to-date record movement control and accountability through record tracking in the health record, ensuring forms are accurate and signed by appropriate individuals for request and release, requesting records from VA and non- VA facilities as directed by the treatment team, ensuring medical documentation complies with joint commission and other accreditation body requirements, using knowledge of qualitative and quantitative data collection methods to improve the health records system by ensuring proper workload credit and statistical information is maintained.
- Scribes will be assigned to cardiology or orthopaedics, so the medical students should have experience working in the medical field performing such duties as medical documentation, and record keeping, Scribes will need to complete pre-clinical training in medical terminology, physician documentation, efficiency management, and PHI/HIPPA/HITECH education.

- Onshore (USA Organization Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location
