[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide interpretation and translation services to reach residents who are limited English proficient and deaf or hard of hearing before, during, and after disasters.
- The contractor will provide Spanish, Vietnamese, and other language-speaking interpreters to assist in in-person interpretation during emergencies, which may include summarizing press conferences, interpreting during an evacuation process, offering interpretation at sheltering operations, and any other emergency public information needs.
- The contractor will be able to provide at least one Vietnamese interpreter and two Spanish interpreters per twelve-hour shift as requested by the city, which could include night time shifts
- The contractor will demonstrate that interpreters are qualified and experienced by verifying interpreters are or have one of the following: court certified interpreter, medical interpretation certification, community interpretation certification, graduate degree in respective foreign language, or other indication of expertise in respective language of translation or interpretation
- The Contractor will provide Spanish, Vietnamese, and other language translators to translate documents as needed throughout the year and during emergencies on an as-needed basis
(2) All question must be submitted no later than March 17, 2021.

[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office premises.
