Government Authority located in Pineville, Louisiana; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for medical services.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide medical services to the government authority located in Pineville, LA.
- Behavioral Health Provider provides early intervention upon identification of the onset of emotional, and behavioral concerns to restore and improve Service Members level of functioning. Including consultative guidance to the senior leadership on specific mental health needs.
- Contractor shall have familiarity with behavioral health assessment tools: e.g., when screening SMs for PTSD contractor shall use the PLC-M tool. Similarly, for depression use beck depression tool and PHQ-9. Screening for Suicidal Ideation, Contractor shall use Columbia screening tool. For anxiety the beck anxiety screening tool will be used. Screening for alcohol abuse the contractor shall use the audit screening tool.
- Provide early intervention and counseling upon identification and onset of emotional; and behavioral concerns to restore and improve service member functioning.
- The contractor shall be responsible for protecting confidential nature of SM’s files for behavioral issues.
- Contractor shall attend scheduled weekend periodic health assessment events to Perform Behavioral Health screenings utilizing appropriate tools (e.g. PLC-M, Columbia, Beck, Audit, and PHQ-9 refer to and counseling.
- Provide expeditious support to the State Surgeon/Deputy State Surgeons’ office to find SMs that may have been erroneously identified as not fit-for-duty. Prepare medical or administrative separation documentation for those SMs no longer fit-for-duty.
- Provide 24/7/365 access to critical incident event counseling and behavioral health intake, assessment, evaluation, screening and referral services. These services may be conducted in person or telephonically.
- Perform Initial and follow-up SM screening evaluations, utilizing information from clinical interviews, non-psychometric tests, and collateral sources, as appropriate.
- Determine a provisional diagnosis and formulate appropriate treatment plan. Occasionally required to make a fitness for duty recommendation for MEB board or command referral determinations.
- Development a creative action plan to promote behavioral health and wellness and the promotion of counseling and treatment services.
- Develop professional networks and establish positive relationships within the LAARNG and its partners.
- Provide consultation services and technical expertise to medical personnel and commanders within the regarding dispositions for service members with Behavioral Health difficulties and behavioral health issues.
- Develop a plan to educate medical providers of LAARNG, commanders and units to promote prevention and market the behavioral health services.
