[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide COVID-19 vaccine confidence increase service to the government authority located in Louisiana.
- Various strategies can help communities increase COVID-19 vaccine confidence and advance vaccine equity, but some may be particularly helpful when addressing individuals with mistrust, including:
● Focusing on effective messaging delivered by trusted community leaders.
● Using tactics to address misinformation and hesitancy within a population of focus
● Tailoring strategies for a specific community
● Helping eliminate stigmas associated with receiving COVID-19 vaccination
● Pairing vaccinations with school supply drives for children with disabilities
● Forming a Parish Community Health Coalition
● Holding ‘Front Porch Talks’ to listen to and address community concerns in a rural parish
● Conducting a Rapid Community Assessment of people who are undocumented in a town (i.e., to gauge vaccine uptake, COVID-19 impact, access considerations or messaging needs for vaccine hesitancy)
● Holding Health Fairs that include COVID vaccines but address other needs as well (Naloxone training and distribution, hypertension, etc.)
● Setting up a Grandparent COVID Ambassador Network for tribal communities
● Offering door to door vaccinations in a community with high numbers of white conservative evangelicals
● Deep canvassing in areas of high vaccine hesitancy among Cajuns to talk through concerns.
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than July 15, 2022
