Vendor needs to provide hosted IP communications services and solution.
- The service shall be a highly reliable, fault tolerant, highly available carrier grade integrated Hosted IP Communications Solution.
- The Proposer should also describe other reliability elements included with the proposed Hosted IP Communications offering at no additional cost (e.g. secondary/backup service node, diversity routed or self-healing network connectivity, diverse power grids).
- Provide a Hosted VOIP service that delivers high quality calls.
- The State desires that the Hosted IP Communications processor be robust and scalable in routing voice and multi-media simultaneously for two-way communications at an enterprise level.
- The Proposer should describe its Enterprise call processing to include a high performance processor, scalability, redundancy failover support, and service scalability in an enterprise environment.
- The Proposer should also describe the service's ability to support voice, multimedia, and collaboration applications and services
- Unified communications: Unified Communications (UC) is the integration of real-time communication services with non-real-time communication services as well as the provisioning of advanced communications and collaboration applications.
- The Hosted IP Communications offering shall provide State customers with the option to subscribe to a suite of unified communications applications that shall include, but is not necessarily limited to:
- Chat/Instant Messaging - real time, peer-to-peer text based communication
- Presence Monitoring - indication of user availability to others using the system (user is available, in a meeting, out of office, etc.). Presence Monitoring is often integrated with a calendar function
- Click to Call - creating hyperlinks from phone numbers and allowing a voice or video call to be placed by clicking on the link in an application like voice mail, email contact, and instant messaging
- Desk Top Video Conferencing - ability to have a real time conversation that includes both video and audio via the user's desktop and/or hard phone, and
- IP Communications System client application for mobile device (e.g. "smartphone") that allows similar functionality as native hard phone or softphone.
- Voice messaging:
- Provide a user option to record automated greeting
- Answer and record message from caller
- Notify called party there is a message waiting
- Unified messaging and storage
- Active directory
- Email platform integration: The State highly desires that the Hosted IP Communications service offering interwork with Microsoft Exchange. The Proposer should describe how its service integrates with Microsoft Exchange.
- Mobility integration: The services provided by the Hosted IP Communications shall have the ability to integrate with mobile devices.
- A single number to ring on multiple devices simultaneously or sequentially,
- Ability to define a single voicemail box, and
- A shared call ID displayed for desk-based and mobile phones
- Electronic faxing
- Hosted call center/uniform call distribution: The service shall include a Hosted Call Center solution, which shall integrate with the Hosted IP Communications Services.
- The State desires a highly available Hosted Call Center/UCD solution for delivering intelligent routing and queuing of contact center service and applications that integrate with the Hosted IP Communications
- Centrex voice messaging integration
- Long distance calling, international calling and directory assistance
- Directory assistance
- E911 And 911 access service
- HIPAA Compliance
