Vendor needs to provide microfilm services to provide the records are in digital format at 300 dpi regular-format images in file formats. - Scan and microfilm student records. - Imaging of all records shall be performed by the Contractor on the Contractor's premises. - The Contractor shall arrange pick-up and delivery of documents with agency. All processing or duplication or indexing of film produced shall be on the Contractor's premises. - All document preparation, microfilming, scanning film processing, film duplications and indexing is to be performed solely by the Contractor or the Contractor's regular employees, and no part of the filming, scanning, processing, duplication, indexing, or any other part of the scope of this contract is to be performed by any subcontractor engaged by the Contractor. - Contractor agrees that neither the Contractor nor any of the Contractor's employees shall reveal, release, or cause to be known any confidential information contained in the records to be imaged - Film shall exceed archival requirements as set forth by the Standards to include the Blue test method, as per PH 4.8-1, 978 Sodium thiosulfate residues to be less than 0.7 microgram/CM2. - Resolution (Master Film) - Resolution of processed film shall exceed one-hundred fifty lines per millimetre. 1. Each master roll of film shall contain targets identifying the beginning and ending, file microfilmed. 2. Each master roll of film shall contain an image of an agency test chart number two for resolution testing purposes. A correlation will be made for quality control purposes to tie resolution to documents filmed. - Background density shall fall within a density range of .95 to 1.1 and each master roll shall contain an image of a reflectance target for background density purposes. A correlation shall be made for quality control purposes to tie density to documents filmed. - Quality Control Verification - A separate set of frames containing resolution and density for each roll of film shall be provided as validation for minimum acceptance quality levels. - Roll Film Density (Base) - Base plus gross fog of master roll film shall not exceed .06 density. - A filmed technical target (provided by Contactor) which shall be a format and content approved by the American National Standards Institute and the Association of Information and Image Management as adequate to enable laboratory measurements of density, resolution, and reduction ratio; followed immediately by; - A target sheet indicating roll number, title of record filmed on roll date of microfilming, reduction ratio used, order (alphabetical, chronological, numerical, etc.) according to which documents are filmed, Contractor name, and signature of camera operator, followed immediately - Guides and indexes which list complete, essential information to identify beginning and ending image under microdex, which note missing records, and which identify retakes spliced to roll or separate supplemental retakes, must be provided for all microfilm produced for any and all projects.
