[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide armed security guard service to safeguard federal employees, visitors and property at both temporary and fixed facilities during disaster and emergency declarations to the government authority located in Lake Charles, LA.
- The duties of some guard posts require that a Contract Security Guard not leave his or her post until properly relieved. Where this is required, it will be specifically stated in the Post Orders.
- Contract Security Guards must be thoroughly familiar with the post orders at all posts where they are assigned to work. Whenever possible, Contract Security Guards should be familiar with the Post Orders prior to working on the posts. When this is not feasible (i.e. when there are emergency nonrecurring services and the Contractor is given limited advance notice regarding the Government’s requirements), the Contractor should allow, to the maximum extent practicable, Contract Security Guards mount time. Mount time is the period of time allowed for guards to prepare for the assumptions of their official duties, such as reading materials like post orders, the loading and holstering the firearm, etc.
- Contract Security Guards must be thoroughly familiar with the Post Orders at all posts where they are assigned to work. Under no circumstance should any Contract Security Guard neglect his/her assigned duties in order to familiarize him/herself with Post Orders.
- Contract Security Guards will be responsible for keeping logs and writing reports of incidents and occurrences encountered during the tour.

[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
