[A] Budget: Looking for proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide coordination, provision, and oversight of non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) and non-emergency ambulance transportation (NEAT) services provided to Beneficiaries to the government authority located in Baton Rouge, LA.
- Provided to medicaid beneficiaries to and from a medicaid covered service or value-added benefit (VAB) when no other means of transportation is available to the beneficiary.
- Ground or air ambulance when the beneficiary’s condition is such that use of any other method of transportation is contraindicated or would make the beneficiary susceptible to injury.
- Transportation provided on an emergency basis, such as trips to emergency departments in life threatening situations.
- Developing and maintaining an adequate transportation network, which includes credentialing and contracting in accordance with the contract, medicaid services manual and medicaid managed care organization (MCO) manual.
- Receiving requests for transportation, scheduling transportation, and dispatching transportation providers to ensure that the transports are performed safely, timely, and efficiently.
- Provide transportation broker services to the Fee-for-Service (FFS) population. The contractor shall also contract with each organization that elects to contract with a transportation broker. The contractor shall accept contract terms that enable the organization to meet their contractual obligations with department.
(2) All question must be submitted no later than November 29, 2021.
(3) Contract term will be three year.
